Offertes de printemps – saisons à Innsbruck – capitale des Alpes
Hiking and Mountaineering at the Patscherkofel
A gentle walk along the lush alpine meadows and wonderful woods on the sunny alpine plateau in Lans, just above the hustle and bustle of Innsbruck, is the perfect way to recuperate your mind, body, and soul. There are so many interesting destinations to explore that suit every type of fitness and skill level.
Visit the popular traditional mountain huts called an "Alm", like the Lanser Alm, Aldranser Alm, Rinner Alm, Patscher Alm, Hochmahdalm, the pilgrimage church Heiligwasser, or the mountain top restaurant Schutzhaus on the Olympic mountain Patscherkofel.
Conquer the Patscherkofel and Glungezer mountains and climbing routes. Your huge sense of accomplishment is not the only reward you get, you will surely love the panoramic views of the holiday region, of the Inntal and Wipptal valleys, and of the breath-taking Limestone und Stubai Alps.
The seven kilometre long (4,3 miles) "Zirbenweg" (translates as "pine path") is a beautiful path suitable for nature lovers, families, and walkers of all fitness levels. The path takes you along the ancient pine woods above Innsbruck and is a wonderful walk in the alpine region, yet is an almost flat trail with barely any noticeable inclines. The entire walk will take you approximately two and a half hours to complete and is a stage of the popular "Tyrolean Adlerweg" trail, which stretches throughout Tyrol.
The Alpine School Innsbruck is a fantastic organisation which kindly offers free guided hiking tours along the Zirbenweg and Speckbacherweg trails, or on the Patscherkofel mountain. They also organise wonderful sunrise tours and torch-lit walks with music.
